If you are an English speaking resident in Denmark and are thinking about volunteering to work for Médicins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) at our office in Denmark, please read the following:
What do volunteers do?
As a volunteer in the Danish office you would help to take care of the daily practical jobs in the office, including making tea and coffee, preparing lunch, running errands, taking care of the mail, and in general helping to maintain a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for the people working in MSF´s office.
Other volunteer tasks include administrative and computer-related skills, but please note that these tasks generally require knowledge of Danish.
Who becomes a volunteer?
Volunteers in our office are people of different ages with quite different backgrounds. Some have been working with us in the field or are waiting to be sent out. Others have no wish to work in the field but would like to contribute by assisting in the office.

How:
We regularly arrange information meetings about volunteering for MSF.
If you wish to participate, you are required to fill out an online form, which is available on this page, when a new meeting is advertised.
Please note that most meetings will be conducted in Danish! If you do not speak the language, please contact us directly for further information.
After the meeting, you are welcome to send an application labelled ´volunteer´ to our coordinator for volunteers, who will then contact you.
Thank you for your interest.
